In each of these exercises you will move a phrase from the end of the sentence to the beginning of the sentence.
For each sentence, you will do the following:
- Find the phrase at the end of the sentence.
- Move the phrase to the beginning of the sentence.
- Make sure you capitalize the first word of each sentence.
- Most of the time you will add a comma after the phrase you have moved.
- Sometimes the phrase will be short enough that you will not need to add a comma.
Hint: It may be helpful to review "
Predicate Expanders 1."
In the first few problems the phrases you have to move are
underlined.
